Main Purpose:

We are looking for an Area Commercial Manager based in Argentina, responsible for coordinating a region. The specific location will be resolved during the selection process, considering various alternatives.

The role involves managing and supporting a team of Territory Managers, ensuring the successful execution of the company’s commercial strategy, brand positioning, and operational excellence across Puma Energy Service Stations, Puma Energy Agros, and the wholesale sales channel (Wholesale). Additionally, the Area Manager must ensure compliance with the company’s quality, service, and branding standards throughout the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and performance management to the Territory Managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Supervise the development of sales channels, market trends, and competitor activities to identify business growth opportunities animprovece market positioning.
  • Coordinate the evaluation of service station facilities and service levels, ensuring compliance with the company’s Quality, Image, and Service standards.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key customers, supporting Territory Managers in account management, complaint resolution, and business advisory services.
  • Analyze and evaluate the commercial and socioeconomic conditions of the region to improve profitability and optimize contract management.
  • Review and approve pricing strategies, promotions, and discounts to drive sales performance and improve customer engagement.
  • Supervise and handle client accounts, collections, and financial risks to maintain a balanced credit portfolio and minimize delinquency rates.
  • Coordinate infrastructure projects, including identification/rebranding processes and other operational improvements within the assigned region.
  • Facilitate training and mentoring for Territory Managers and service station personnel to develop their capabilities and ensure the effective execution of operational and commercial strategies.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities within the assigned region to expand Puma Energy’s market presence.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key collaborators, including regulatory bodies, local authorities, and business partners, to anticipate market movements and ensure business continuity.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Degree or sophisticated studies in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Shown experience in team leadership, sales management, and business development.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking to drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Availability to travel within the country.
  • Valid driver’s license (required).
